Featuring an all-new rugged design and a 2.0T plug-in hybrid powertrain, the all-new Wey Lanshan will open for pre-sale on November 9.

We have recently learned from official sources that the all-new Wey Lanshan (officially designated as the second-generation Wey Lanshan) will begin pre-sales on November 9. Built on the same platform as the Great Wall H10, the new model features a plug-in hybrid powertrain—combining a 2.0T engine with dual electric motors—and will be available in both 5-seater and 6-seater configurations.

In terms of exterior design, the all-new WEY Lanshan adopts a rugged, boxy aesthetic. The front fascia features a large, vertical-slat grille with an illuminated WEY brand emblem embedded in the center, flanked by retro-style circular headlights—a design characterized by a square outer frame housing a round inner element. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with roof rails and a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5140/2050/1960 mm (for the 5-seater version) and 5300/2050/1960 mm (for the 6-seater version) in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 3010 mm for both. The rear features a tailgate-mounted spare tire—housed in a cover branded with the "WEY" logo—complemented by split, vertically-oriented taillights and a side-hinged tailgate.

In terms of powertrain, the new vehicle features a plug-in hybrid system combining a 2.0T engine (with a maximum output of 182 kW) and electric motors—delivering 110 kW at the front and 220 kW at the rear. It utilizes an 800V high-voltage architecture and supports 6C ultra-fast charging. Two battery options are available (based on the WLTC cycle): a 53.6 kWh version offering a pure-electric range of 220 km, and a 64.7 kWh version providing a pure-electric range of 270 km. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with features such as a rear-axle differential lock, a closed-loop dual-chamber air suspension system, and a rear-wheel steering system with a range of 20° in either direction.
