Official images of the Dongfeng Nissan NX7 have been released; it features an all-new front-end design that is sportier than the NX8 and is expected to have a lower starting price.

Official images of the Dongfeng Nissan NX7 were recently released. The new vehicle features a brand-new front-end design that is sportier and more compact than that of the NX8; it is expected to be positioned as a mid-size SUV.

The Nissan NX7 adopts a brand-new design language while retaining the split-headlight configuration; notably, the daytime running lights do not feature a full-width layout. The lower light clusters have been restyled, featuring a diamond-shaped housing with an L-shaped internal structure, and the front logo is illuminated. Pronounced character lines on the hood accentuate its sculpted, sporty aesthetic; the vehicle is equipped with roof rails and a front-mounted LiDAR sensor. The front bumper retains air intakes and incorporates air ducts on both sides.

In profile, the new vehicle features a sculpted, dynamic look, incorporating all-new semi-concealed door handles, a two-tone body design, and five-spoke petal-style wheels; the fresh "grass green" paintwork further accentuates its energetic character, while the rear end appears noticeably more compact and dynamic than that of the NX8.

The rear features a full-width light assembly with an illuminated NISSAN logo at the center, a dynamic rear spoiler, and a panoramic roof. Drawing on the NX8 as a reference, the NX7 is expected to offer both 1.5T extended-range and pure electric powertrains. Further details are yet to be officially revealed.
