Geely's best-selling SUV gets an update! Spy shots of the all-new Xingyue L reveal a design that retains the spacious SUV layout.

It has been five years since the Geely Xingyue L first launched in 2021. Built on Geely's CMA architecture and positioned as a spacious five-seater compact SUV, it remains Geely's best-selling model as of June, with monthly sales reaching 15,220 units. We have recently obtained spy shots of the all-new Xingyue L.

The all-new Xingyue L continues to prioritize a spacious interior design; internally designated as KX21, the model has previously appeared in public as a camouflaged prototype. Its front fascia retains the signature multi-slat vertical grille, while the redesigned headlights are sleeker, featuring an upper section for daytime running lights and a lower section housing the projector headlamps. The front bumper adopts Geely's family design language, accented with chrome trim on both sides. A LiDAR unit is also slated for inclusion at the top of the front end, although it was absent on the vehicle seen in the spy shots.

Along the side, a bold character line runs the length of the vehicle; the new model retains traditional door handles, and the window profile closely resembles that of the current version. At the rear, horizontal taillights are used—expected to feature a full-width design—though the light cluster styling has been updated, and the rear window offers good visibility. The vehicle is fitted with 235/50 R20 wheels, which clearly display the Geely "China Star" logo.

The interior's center console and seats are similar to those of the current model, and the cabin is expected to retain the dual-screen layout for the center console and the front passenger side.

The all-new Xingyue L will continue to offer the "Zhiqing" i-HEV hybrid powertrain—a standard hybrid system. Based on the current model, it combines a 1.5T engine with an electric motor, delivering a maximum engine power of 120 kW and a maximum motor power of 175 kW. Meanwhile, a purely internal combustion engine (ICE) version is also expected to be released. The test vehicle appears to feature both a charging port and a fuel filler cap, indicating that a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant will also be introduced.
