Positioned as a compact SUV, equipped with both pure electric and range-extended powertrains, XPeng's first SUV is named MONA L03.

On June 22, XPeng officially announced that its first SUV will be named MONA L03, with the "L" in "L03" representing SUV. The new car is positioned as a compact SUV and will be equipped with both pure electric and range-extended powertrains. It is expected to launch later this year.

In terms of appearance, the XPeng MONA L03 continues the iconic design language of the MONA family, with smooth and rounded lines, a strong coupe-like stance, and a combination of fluidity and youthful sportiness. The side profile features smooth, flowing lines and semi-hidden door handles, effectively reducing the drag coefficient. The rear design echoes the front, featuring a continuous flowing taillight and pre-installed air intakes on both sides, further enhancing the vehicle's dynamic stance. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4650/1920/1600mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2850mm.

In terms of power, the XPeng MONA L03 extended-range version will be equipped with a 1.5L extended-range hybrid system, with a maximum power of 70 kW for the range extender and a peak power of 183 kW for the single drive motor. The WLTC pure electric range will be available in several versions, namely 257km, 241km and 249km.

The XPeng MONA L03 pure electric version is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 183 kW, matched with a Zhongchuang Innovation Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery Pack, offering 56kWh and 69kWh capacities. Depending on the configuration, the CLTC range is 505km, 525km, 530km, 550km, 605km, 625km, 630km, and 650km respectively.
