On May 11, BYD officially announced the launch of the 2026 Seagull model, offering four variants. As a facelifted version, the new car focuses on enhanced features, with upgrades in intelligence, safety, and comfort. The biggest highlight is the optional LiDAR (God's Eye B).


In terms of appearance, the new model adds two new color options, "Mango Orange" and "Mint Green," and offers a variety of choices including Warm White, Peach Pink, and Sprout Green. In addition, the new model is equipped with 16-inch starburst dynamic wheels, new taillights, and a logo light, enhancing visual recognition. In terms of dimensions, the new model measures 3780×1715×1540mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2500mm.
The interior features a new "Oatmeal Rice" theme, complemented by interior styles such as Deep Sea Blue, Dune Pink, and Sprout Green, catering to individual preferences. In terms of configuration, the 2026 Seagull is equipped with a smart cockpit featuring the DiLink 150 system, a 12.8-inch high-definition central control screen, supporting 3D vehicle control and deeply customized navigation, further optimizing the vehicle-machine interaction experience. Other features include a full HD panoramic camera, NFC mobile phone car key, VTOL mobile power station, front air conditioning Type-A/C interface, electrically heated exterior mirrors, and intelligent voice interaction.
Furthermore, the new model adds several comfort features, such as automatic air conditioning with intelligent temperature adjustment; four-way adjustable steering wheel, six-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats; 50W wireless phone charging, a class-leading sunglasses holder, split-type front headrest seats; and dual wipers with four adjustable levels for clearer visibility in rainy weather.
It's worth mentioning that the 2026 Seagull model offers an optional DiPilot 300 laser-based driver assistance system (DiPilot 300), which enables features such as City Navigation Assist (CNOA), traffic light recognition and real-time countdown, all-scenario detour, and roundabout driving, significantly improving driving convenience and safety. Furthermore, the new car is equipped with Driver Monitoring System (DMS), featuring front and rear collision warnings, Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), a five-way dashcam, and a full HD panoramic camera, providing real-time warnings of potential risks.
In terms of power, all models come standard with a 55 kW electric motor with a maximum torque of 135 Nm; the battery packs are available in 30.08 kWh and 38.88 kWh options, corresponding to a range of 305 km and 405 km respectively.
