Recently, FAW-Volkswagen launched blind pre-orders and a price guessing game for the new Sagitar S, which will be officially launched at FAW-Volkswagen's Spring New Product Launch Conference on March 31.

In terms of appearance, the new Sagitar S adopts the family design language with smooth and simple lines. The front of the car features a continuous light strip and an illuminated logo. The headlights are dark and deep, and the front bumper has a sporty design.

In terms of dimensions, the new Sagitar S measures 4702/1815/1484mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2688mm. It is smaller than the Sagitar L and features 17-inch blade-style wheels. The rear of the vehicle also continues the through-type taillight design, with the rear bumper complemented by trendy black trim.



Inside, the new car features a wraparound cockpit design with extensive use of soft-touch materials and 30-color ambient lighting. A 12.9-inch floating central control screen and a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster are integrated, supporting AR real-view navigation. Powered by a Qualcomm 8155 chip, and equipped with the iFlytek voice interaction system and an AI model matrix integrating Deepseek, Doubao, and self-developed models, it can achieve multi-turn dialogue and accurate understanding of multiple intents. Furthermore, the new Sagitar S supports CarPlay, Carlife, and Huawei HiCar connectivity. Ergonomic seats are also available.
In terms of power, the new Sagitar S offers two powertrain options: a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, delivering a maximum power of 81 kW; and a 1.5T EVO2 engine paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission, utilizing technologies such as Miller cycle and APS atmospheric plasma spraying, with a maximum power of 118 kW.
