We previously reported that Toyota would be launching a production version of the bZ Large concept car, and also shared patent images of its exterior. Recently, Toyota officially released a teaser of the car's interior and stated that it will be officially unveiled on February 10th. It is understood that the new car is expected to be named bZ5x, Grand Crown, or bZ Highlander, with production planned to begin in Kentucky, USA in the first half of the year, and a launch in the North American market later this year.

Judging from the interior teaser images, the new car will feature a 2+2+2 six-seat layout. The front row will be equipped with a floating center console screen and a digital instrument cluster. The steering wheel is of moderate size, and physical buttons appear to be retained in the center console area. The seats feature a two-tone design, the center armrest has a touchscreen, and cupholders are located in the aisle area. It will also feature a large panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting. Notably, the rear air vents are laid out identically to those in the Highlander, suggesting that the vehicle's dimensions will also be quite similar.

Looking back at the new car's exterior, the front end largely retains the design style of the previous concept car. The headlights appear to have been flattened, but it's expected that they will still retain the C-shaped daytime running lights, continuing the family design language. A continuous light strip is expected to be added in the center, while the lower bumper will retain the trapezoidal air intake. In addition, the new car's hood is expected to be painted a different color from the body, just like the concept car, further enhancing its visual impact.
Moving to the side profile, the new car boasts a long body and wheelbase, complemented by electronic rearview mirrors and hidden door handles, resulting in a sleek and sophisticated overall look. The rear exudes a strong sense of power, with a continuous taillight extending to the rear fender. The rear bumper and tailgate are also expected to feature a two-tone design, echoing the front fascia. We will continue to follow up and report on more information about this new car.
