Official images of the Fang Cheng Bao "Titan 9" (Titan 9) were recently released; as the flagship model of the Titan series, the new vehicle retains the series' signature "boxy" design.

The Fangchengbao Bao 9 features a boxy design. Its front fascia incorporates a distinctive, full-width ring-shaped light strip that encircles the brand logo, while the lower bumper houses a silver skid plate and an active grille shutter; a LiDAR unit is mounted on the roof. The vehicle combines a rugged aesthetic with a touch of mysterious, sci-fi flair.

The vehicle's profile continues the brand's signature design language, featuring a floating roof and a silhouette reminiscent of the "Titan 7." A sculpted waistline accentuates the flared wheel arches, lending the vehicle a rugged, robust character, while the design incorporates a short front overhang and a long rear overhang. The vehicle measures 5,270 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,850 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,130 mm. It offers an approach angle of 19° and a departure angle of 22°, with a choice of wheel designs available in both 21-inch and 22-inch sizes.

The rear features a split-opening tailgate design and distinctive taillights; the roof spoiler integrates a large, high-mounted brake light, and a hidden rear wiper is included. The vehicle is available in 5-seat, 6-seat, and 7-seat configurations—with the 6-seat layout being the primary version submitted for regulatory filing—and the third-row seats can be fully folded down across the entire lineup.

The interior features a dual-screen setup for the center console and front passenger side, along with a dedicated instrument cluster and a head-up display system; suede-like material is used throughout the cabin. A panoramic sunroof comes standard across the lineup, while optional features include roof rails, silver or black body styling kits, and a towing system, with a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 kg.

The Fangchengbao Bao 9 features a unibody structure and is equipped with the Yunnian-P Ultra intelligent hydraulic suspension system; rear-wheel steering comes standard across the lineup, balancing urban driving comfort with light off-road capability.

In terms of powertrain, the new vehicle features a plug-in hybrid all-wheel-drive system combining a 1.5T engine with dual front and rear electric motors, utilizing the sixth-generation DM-i hybrid technology. The 1.5T engine delivers a maximum power of 115 kW, while both the front and rear motors produce a maximum power of 200 kW. Equipped with a 66.48 kWh battery pack, the vehicle offers a pure electric range of 310 km and a combined range exceeding 2,300 km with a full tank and full charge.
