On February 4th, we obtained teaser images of BYD's new mid-size SUV, the BYD Song Ultra EV, from official BYD sources. The vehicle has already completed its application with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and is larger overall than the Song L DM-i, suggesting a more spacious interior.

It adopts a family-style design, featuring a closed front grille paired with horizontal black trim and a continuous light strip, giving it good recognizability. Meanwhile, the addition of a three-section air intake appropriately enhances the vehicle's sporty attributes. It's worth mentioning that the new car can also be equipped with a lidar system, allowing it to feature the "God's Eye B" system, supporting assisted driving in urban and highway environments.

At the rear, the car features a continuous taillight assembly and a large spoiler, adding visual depth. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4850/1910/1670mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2840mm. For power, it uses a single electric motor with a maximum power output of 270 kW and a top speed of 210 km/h. We will continue to follow up on more information about this new car.
