At the Leapmotor 10th Anniversary Launch Event on December 28, the interior of the Leapmotor D19 was unveiled for the first time and blind pre-orders were opened. A deposit of 999 yuan entitles customers to priority in property rights and expedited delivery, priority participation in official events and exclusive services, and an exclusive D19 model car signed by the founder.

The D19 is the first product in Leapmotor's D series and the first model built on the LEAP 4.0 architecture. Positioned as a large SUV, its core technological highlights lie in its comprehensive leadership in intelligent technology and electric drive. A few key features will make this clear: the extended-range version of the Leapmotor D19 boasts a pure electric range of 500km using an 800V platform; the pure electric version uses a 1000V platform with a pure electric range of 720km and a 0-100km/h acceleration time in the 3-second range. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon dual 8797 ultra chip, achieving a computing power of up to 1280 TOPS, and supports VLA assisted driving, including parking-to-parking functionality.

In terms of appearance, the Leapmotor D19 adopts the "World of Space" front face design, with a recognizable family style. It features a three-segment continuous daytime running light and a million-pixel DLP projection headlight that can project and realize a dynamic light carpet, as well as adaptive high beams. The front bumper of the car is equipped with an active air intake grille.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5252mm in length, 1995mm in width, and 1780mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3110mm. It features a two-tone body design, flat side windows, a curved body, 21-inch "Land of Longing" disc-shaped wheels, and Michelin silent tires, exuding a noble temperament. The vehicle is available in five colors: Pine Green, Liquid Silver, Metallic Black, Sky Gray, and Photonic White. The rear features an ISD intelligent interactive light screen that supports multi-scene intelligent light signals, a 1958mm ultra-wide light screen, and soundproof glass in the windows.

Inside, the new car retains the minimalist style of the Leapmotor family, but emphasizes the craftsmanship of details and materials. The entire interior features extensive soft-touch materials, an environmentally friendly tea polyphenol process, a velvet headliner, top-grain calfskin upholstery, a Nappa leather steering wheel, wood trim, and three fragrance systems. Four soft-light diffusers create a luxurious atmosphere, and ambient lighting further enhances the ambiance.
The rear seats offer a 6-inch multi-function control screen and a 21.4-inch 3K electric entertainment screen, both TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light emission. Additionally, the rear seats provide small tables, an 8.1L air conditioning unit (with a wide temperature range of -6°C to 50°C), sunshades, and a panoramic sunroof. The seats feature a perforated design and V-shaped pattern, and will be available in 6-seat and 7-seat configurations. The driver's seat has headrest speakers, and the second-row zero-gravity seats support a 120-degree reclining position with 4-way leg rests and a 195mm central aisle. The third-row seats also offer 131-degree backrest adjustment and feature heating and one-touch folding functions.
In terms of intelligent features, the new vehicle's overall cockpit is built on the LEAP4.0 central domain control architecture and is the first to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon dual 8797 ultra chips, with a computing power of up to 1280 TOPS. It supports VLA assisted driving, including parking space-to-parking functionality. The new vehicle has an active AEB braking system with a working speed range of 4-150 km/h and an active emergency avoidance AES system with a working speed range of 80-130 km/h.

In terms of power, the Leapmotor D19 range-extended version is equipped with an 80.3kWh battery pack, offering a pure electric range of up to 500 kilometers with CLTC (Clearly Connected Turbine Battery). This model pioneers range-extended CTC battery technology and features an innovative door sill exhaust integrated system, maximizing the use of chassis space for the battery. The range-extended version utilizes an 800V platform, achieving a 30%-80% charging time of just 15 minutes. It also features a 40L fuel tank and a dual-energy motor four-wheel drive range-extending system, employing an integrated drive-generator. The overall powertrain is over 60 kg lighter than traditional range-extending systems, with a 5% increase in combined range. The maximum power of the range-extended model is 400 kW.
The pure electric model adopts a 1000V voltage platform technology and is equipped with three-motor technology, with a combined power of 540 kW and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of around 3 seconds. The battery uses CATL's latest hybrid cells with a capacity of 115kWh, providing a pure electric range of 720 kilometers. Leveraging the kilovolt platform, the pure electric version can be recharged for over 350 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes.
As Leapmotor's flagship model, the D19 showcases the latest technologies from the Leapmotor LEAP 4.0 architecture, demonstrating its robust capabilities. As Zhu Jiangming stated, it sets a benchmark for its class. The Leapmotor D19 not only boasts leading dimensions in its segment but also possesses advantages in electric powertrain technology. It offers a luxurious and comfortable passenger space and intelligent hardware. Furthermore, both the extended-range and pure electric versions offer excellent range performance, making it poised to become another blockbuster product following the Leapmotor L90.
