The new FAW Toyota Corolla is expected to launch on December 21, featuring a longer body and a completely redesigned interior.

 Recently, FAW Toyota officially announced on social media that COROLLA DAY — the 2025 Corolla Owners Festival — will be held on December 21. Earlier reports indicated that the new Corolla would be launched in December, and it is expected that the new Corolla could be available on December 21. From December 5 to December 21, those who make an appointment to experience the new Corolla can receive a limited 100 yuan voucher for parts. Additionally, existing owners who visit the store before December 31 can enjoy benefits such as a free full vehicle inspection.

  In terms of appearance, the new Corolla features Toyota's all-new family front-end design, a front-end style for new energy models, C-shaped daytime running lights, and a new split headlight design, with the front grille moved down to the front bumper.

  The biggest highlight of the new model is its extended size. In terms of body dimensions, the new car measures 4710/1780/1435mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2750mm. Compared to the current model, the length has increased by 35mm, the wheelbase has increased by 50mm, while the width and height remain unchanged. The rear doors of the new car are now larger.

 At the rear of the vehicle, the new Corolla adopts a three-segment taillight design, with an additional light strip in the middle to create a through-style look. The lights on both sides also feature new LED strips, and the original chrome trim has been replaced with black trim.

  The interior has undergone the most significant changes. The entire central console has been redesigned, with the addition of ambient lighting, and the air conditioning vents are now a through-type design. The dashboard surface has added stitching details. The 12.9-inch central display is larger, and the interface has been re-optimized, including Huawei HiCar, Apple CarPlay, CarLink, and more. The gear shift area also features a new design, while the steering wheel remains the same as the current model. The seats have been optimized as well, adopting brand-new integrated seats to enhance the sporty feel.

  The new Corolla will come standard with the Toyota Pilot driving assistance system across all models, and will also offer multiple active safety features such as the LDA Lane Departure Alert system, PDA Predictive Driving Assist system, and EDSS Emergency Driving Stop System.

  In terms of power, the intelligent plug-in hybrid dual-engine version will be equipped with a 1.8L naturally aspirated engine paired with a hybrid system, producing a maximum power of 72kW and equipped with a nickel-cobalt-manganese lithium battery. The gasoline version will be equipped with a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine, producing a maximum power of 126kW.
