The 2026 Volkswagen Magotan is launched with a new high-speed NOA and uses a large language model

 On 26 November, the 2026 Volkswagen Magotan was officially launched. The new car offers a total of five models, continuing the exterior and interior design of the current models, with a focus on adjustments to the configurations.

 The vehicle system has also been upgraded, with new ambient lights that move with the music, a new rear seat sleep mode, six new preset scenes, an upgraded IQ.Pilot enhanced driving assistance rendering feature, expanded voice control options, the use of an advanced large language model, and a new AI short video search at will.

 Other upgrades also include: upgrading the Bluetooth digital key, 40W wireless charging, remote control of the air conditioning and windows. The steering wheel material is optimised to eco-friendly microfiber, and the steering wheel touch buttons are changed to physical buttons.

 Other downgrade changes include: keyless entry for all four doors changed to keyless entry for the front two doors only, adjustment of the exterior rear-view mirror indicator technology, removal of the rear tow hook sleeve, change of material for the front cup holder sliding cover, removal of the driver's side carpet wear mat, removal of AQS automatic air quality control, and removal of PM2.5 value display. In terms of power, the 300TSI and 380TSI are equipped with 1.5T and 2.0T turbocharged engines, with maximum outputs of 118 kW and 162 kW respectively, matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
