The new Alpha T5 will be launched soon, supporting city and highway NOA and adding an extended-range version.

The new Alpha T5 will be officially launched on October 28th and is currently in the pre-sale stage. Compared to the previous model, the new model features some configuration adjustments, including an increase in the official CLTC range, and a new extended-range version.

The new Alpha T5 pure electric model range has been reduced from five to four, with corresponding ranges increased from 520/630/660km to 560/660 and 705km, respectively. The battery capacity remains unchanged. The 560km version has a lower motor torque than the 520km version, while the 660km and 705km versions both feature smaller 19-inch wheels compared to their predecessors.

Other configuration changes are also significant. The entry-level model now features a comprehensive suite of active safety and driver assistance systems, eliminating the awkward situation of the original PRO version, which only had cruise control. The BAIC Yuanjing assisted driving system on mid-to-high-end models is more powerful than the previous model, supporting urban/highway No-Analog Emergency Driving (NOA) and full-scenario intelligent parking assistance. Furthermore, high-end models will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8775 automotive chip.

The newly added extended-range version further enriches user needs. It is equipped with a 1.5-liter extended-range power system, the range extender has a maximum power of 77 kilowatts, the motor has a maximum power of 200kW, the maximum torque is 365 Nm, the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 6.5 seconds, the pure electric range is 215 kilometers, and the comprehensive range is 1215 kilometers.
