Spy shots of the new Land Rover Range Rover have recently emerged. The updates are minor and focused on specific details, with the interior expected to be the primary area for refinement and enhancement.
In terms of exterior design, the new Land Rover Range Rover retains the front-end look of the current model, though the grille mesh structure has been redesigned: the horizontal slats are now smaller and more tightly arranged. While the outer contours of the headlights remain unchanged, the internal lighting elements have been adjusted. The front bumper design is expected to stay the same as that of the current model.

The side and rear profiles show almost no discernible differences from the current model; it is highly likely that the new vehicle will retain the existing design, including the vertical taillights and the black horizontal trim strip.

This test vehicle is an engineering prototype; its original interior has been stripped out and replaced with a roll cage and a pair of racing seats—features that will not appear in the production version. Previous reports indicate that the cockpit will undergo several modifications and is expected to incorporate a curved center console display.

The powertrain lineup is expected to remain unchanged. The flagship version continues to feature a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine supplied by BMW, paired with a mild-hybrid system, delivering a maximum output of 615 horsepower. The current range also includes Jaguar Land Rover’s in-house Ingenium 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharged engines, available with outputs of 360 hp and 400 hp. Additionally, the vehicle is offered with a 3.0-liter plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, as well as a 3.0-liter inline-six twin-turbocharged diesel engine.
