Recently, foreign media outlets revealed spy shots of the production version of the Bentley Bentayga X. Departing from the road-focused, sporty design of the standard Bentayga, this new model features an increased ride height and enhanced off-road equipment, significantly improving the luxury SUV’s all-terrain capability. It will be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine and equipped with an air suspension system and a 48V mild-hybrid setup.

The exterior design of the Bentley Bentayga largely carries over from the current model, featuring the signature, highly distinctive four-round-headlight arrangement, while its elegant body lines and overall styling exude a sense of luxury. The forward-facing camera module, positioned near the rearview mirror, is larger than that of the current Bentayga—potentially indicating a dual-camera (stereo) setup—which suggests that the new model may be equipped with a more capable driver-assistance system.

Moving to the side profile, the edges of the side windows, the trim along the waistline, and the fender accents all feature a blacked-out finish—a design choice that leans further into an off-road aesthetic compared to the chrome trim found on the current Bentayga. The wheels on the test vehicle sport a design reminiscent of rally-car wheels, also finished in black, and are fitted with specialized off-road tires.

The raised body enhances the Bentayga X’s off-road capability. Close-up shots of the wheel arches reveal that the vehicle is equipped with air springs, which allow for adjustable ride height. A label on the air springs reads "Off-Road Use Only," suggesting that the prototype is currently undergoing development and testing focused on off-road performance.

The rear styling of the Bentayga X remains consistent with the current Bentayga model, featuring highly recognizable signature oval taillights and a blacked-out Bentley emblem. A closer look reveals that the rear spoiler incorporates an open-work (hollowed-out) design, which distinguishes it from the current Bentayga.

In terms of powertrain, the new model’s specifications can be gauged from the previously unveiled Bentayga X concept. It is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering a maximum output of 650 horsepower and 850 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 310 km/h.
