New Titanium Silver Available / Pre-orders Open in September: Official Images Released for the New Redesigned Zhijie R7 with New Color Options

On September 7th, we obtained official images of the new "Titanium Silver" color option for the refreshed Zhijie R7, a mid-to-large SUV, from Zhijie Auto. Previously, Yu Chengdong, when announcing the upcoming refresh of the Zhijie R7, revealed that a 500 million yuan investment had been made, encompassing eight major upgrades. Zhao Changjiang stated that the refreshed Zhijie R7 features upgrades in cabin space, seating experience, range, and chassis tuning. It is understood that pre-orders for the new car will begin in September.

Judging from the official images released, the car largely retains the design philosophy of the current model, featuring a closed front grille paired with uniquely styled headlights, creating a pleasing visual appeal. It also boasts semi-concealed door handles, multi-spoke glossy black wheels, and red brake calipers, emphasizing its sporty character. Furthermore, it comes with the same "Titanium Silver" color option as the Zhijie RX, catering to a wider range of users' personalization needs.

Inside, the car features a new flowing, wraparound cockpit with a new purple interior color scheme, paired with a large dual-screen setup, giving it a stronger sense of technology. In terms of driver assistance, it is expected to retain the overall parameters of the current model. For reference, the current Zhijie R7 comes standard with 36 sensors, 1 solid-state LiDAR, 6 external microphones, 3 distributed 4D millimeter-wave radar matrices, and 2 4D millimeter-wave angular radars. The Zhijie R7 is equipped with an 896-line dual-beam image-level LiDAR, achieving ultra-high-definition, ultra-precise, and ultra-long-range "high-definition picture-in-picture" effects, providing stronger perception capabilities for active safety and advanced intelligent driving. It features the HUAWEI ADS 4 driver assistance system, including parking space navigation assistance, valet parking support, and debuts the intelligent parking function.

The vehicle has already completed its application with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Its dimensions are 4982/1981/1634 (1650) mm (length/width/height), with a wheelbase of 2950 mm. In terms of power, the vehicle will be equipped with a drive motor (model QT67TZ210D01) produced by Huawei Digital Power Technology Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 227 kW, an improvement over the current single-motor version.
