Genesis GV80 Hybrid, expected to debut in September, featuring a 2.5T hybrid system; undisguised spy photos.
Recently, we obtained a set of uncamouflaged spy photos of the Genesis GV80 hybrid version from relevant channels. The new car will be equipped with Genesis' latest 2.5T hybrid system and is expected to make its debut in September.
In terms of appearance, the new model will continue the design of the current gasoline version, featuring a classic shield-shaped grille with a double-layered structure and a large air intake on the front bumper that exudes sportiness. New wheel designs will also be available. The rear retains the split taillights, complemented by a roof spoiler and chrome accents, creating a sporty and luxurious feel.
In terms of powertrain, the Genesis GV80 and GV80 Coupe will be the first models in the brand's product line to feature the new hybrid system. The new vehicles will be equipped with a hybrid system consisting of a 2.5T turbocharged engine and P1/P2 electric motors, with a combined maximum power output of approximately 357 horsepower and a peak torque of 529 Nm, achieving a 0-100km/h acceleration time of approximately 7.1 seconds. Furthermore, to further enhance cabin quietness, Genesis has optimized this powertrain, enabling pure electric mode in various scenarios whenever possible.
