Spy shots of the all-new Audi A2 e-tron with light camouflage reveal a distinctive design; the model is set to debut this autumn.

The all-new Audi A2 e-tron is drawing closer; lightly camouflaged spy shots have recently surfaced. Its styling pays homage to the classic "loaf-like" silhouette of the original Audi A2 while incorporating crossover design elements. Built on the Volkswagen MEB+ platform, the vehicle is set to make its official debut this autumn.

In terms of exterior design, the new vehicle features the signature fully enclosed grille of the Audi e-tron family, retaining the "wide-mouth" look that makes the model instantly recognizable as an Audi. It incorporates a split headlight setup—with daytime running lights expected to display various patterns—and a rounded front bumper featuring a rectangular lower air intake.

The side profile retains the silhouette of the Audi A2 while incorporating a Sportback-style sloping roofline; the base of the steeply raked D-pillar integrates a large spoiler, complemented by 19-inch low-drag wheels, and the A-pillar features a small triangular window due to its pronounced angle.

Currently, only partial details of the rear are visible, revealing a high-gloss black lower bumper, a full-width taillight assembly, and a split rear window; the rear end is highly distinctive, and the trunk is expected to offer ample storage space.

The overall interior layout bears a strong resemblance to the previous-generation Audi Q3; it comes standard with an 11.9-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch central touchscreen, paired with a flat-bottom steering wheel and a column-mounted gear selector.

In terms of powertrain, the all-new Audi A2 e-tron is expected to feature a system similar to that of the Volkswagen ID.3 Neo. For reference, the ID.3 Neo offers a maximum WLTP range of up to 630 km and comes with a choice of three electric motor outputs—125 kW, 140 kW, and 170 kW—with the Audi A2 e-tron highly likely to be equipped with the high-output version.
