A monster with over 2,000 horsepower? Suspected new Xiaomi SU7 Ultra spy photos equipped with giant rear spoiler

Spy shots of a suspected new Xiaomi SU7 Ultra have recently surfaced. Reports suggest the model might be named the SU7 Ultra Extreme and launched as a limited-edition vehicle. It is expected to feature significantly enhanced performance, potentially utilizing a quad-motor setup delivering over 2,000 horsepower. Official details regarding the vehicle remain subject to the manufacturer's announcement.

Compared to the current model, the new Xiaomi SU7 Ultra features a more aggressive aerodynamic design; the front bumper incorporates extensive aerodynamic elements while retaining the dual-vented hood, resulting in a highly distinctive overall appearance. Additionally, vents have been added to the front fenders at the wheel arches to relieve internal pressure and reduce front-axle lift.

Viewed from the side, the new car features restyled front and rear fenders; the aerodynamic design closely mirrors that of the SU7 prototype, incorporating an open-style layout behind the wheel arches. Significant upgrades have also been made to the rear spoiler and diffuser: the spoiler is larger and expected to feature a Drag Reduction System (DRS), while the rear diffuser is more aggressive in size and design, emphasizing functionality to ensure optimal downforce and stability.

Regarding the powertrain, reports indicate that Xiaomi is developing a four-motor system—a beast capable of delivering a staggering 2,054 horsepower.
