Welcome to Hebei Opportunity Co., Ltd
We recently obtained a set of spy shots showing the all-new long-wheelbase BMW 3 Series undergoing testing. The vehicle will be built on the upgraded CLAR platform and features the brand's latest family design language at the front; the interior is also expected to receive corresponding updates. Notably, the all-new long-wheelbase BMW i3 has already made its debut at the Beijing Auto Show, and the internal combustion engine version is expected to be officially unveiled later this year.

Looking at the spy shots, although the new vehicle remains heavily camouflaged, the front end clearly reveals that it will adopt BMW's latest signature design language. Much like the all-new long-wheelbase BMW i3, the vehicle features slender headlight clusters that integrate seamlessly with the kidney grille, while vertically arranged dual LED daytime running lights on either side enhance the visual width. Additionally, the front bumper incorporates a two-section air intake design and features an active grille system.

Moving to the side profile, the new car retains the flush-fitting (hidden) door handle design, though the production version might switch to a semi-flush design. The roofline largely mirrors that of the all-new long-wheelbase i3, although the internal combustion engine (ICE) version features a longer rear section and rear overhang, resulting in a silhouette closer to a traditional three-box sedan; additionally, the shape of the rear quarter window is expected to differ slightly from that of the long-wheelbase i3. At the rear, the vehicle features a dual-exit exhaust setup and a subtle "ducktail" spoiler.

The interior is expected to be updated in line with the all-new i3 Long Wheelbase model, featuring the BMW Panoramic Vision display system and more. In terms of powertrain, drawing from the current BMW 3 Series, the vehicle will be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine offering maximum outputs of 184 hp and 245 hp, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. We will continue to monitor and report on further details regarding the new model.
