Genesis recently released official images of the 2027 GV70. While officially classified as a mid-cycle facelift, the vehicle features no significant changes to its exterior design or powertrain architecture; instead, the upgrades focus on the wheels, improved cabin quietness, and a performance-oriented "Graphite" exclusive sports package.

In terms of exterior appearance, the new GV70 features only minor refinements. The standard wheels have been upgraded from 18-inch to 19-inch units (retaining the current design), and a new optional 19-inch wheel design has been added. A new "Tromso Green" exterior color is now available, offering consumers greater scope for personalization. Key design elements—such as the front and rear light clusters, the grille, and the body lines—remain unchanged from the current model.

The core upgrade of this facelift is the all-new Graphite Sports Package, which serves as the key visual differentiator from the standard model. Vehicles equipped with this optional package feature gloss black side mirrors, red brake calipers, and large 21-inch sports wheels; handling hardware is also upgraded with the inclusion of an electronically controlled suspension and an electronic limited-slip differential. Additionally, four exclusive exterior paint colors are introduced: Bering Blue, Ceres Blue Matte, Makalu Grey, and Uyuni White.

The interior has undergone practical refinements to enhance the daily driving and riding experience. Sound-insulating material in the wheel arches has been thickened to suppress road noise and chassis vibration, comprehensively improving NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) performance; additionally, the front seats now feature integrated back panels. In terms of equipment, a comprehensive "Premium" option package has been introduced, bundling high-end B&O audio, a full suite of comfort and convenience features, and a panoramic sunroof to simplify the configuration process for consumers.

The interior fully embraces a sporty aesthetic, featuring Nappa leather seats in a contrasting Obsidian Black and Ultramarine Blue color scheme and extensive carbon fiber trim. The infotainment system incorporates exclusive animated graphics, while the headrests bear the Genesis emblem; red seatbelts, contrasting stitching, and microfiber seat upholstery further elevate the sporty feel of the cabin.
Official powertrain details have not yet been released, but the lineup is expected to remain unchanged from the current model: a 2.5T inline-four turbocharged engine delivering 300 hp and 421 Nm of torque, and a 3.5T V6 twin-turbocharged engine producing 375 hp and 530 Nm of torque. We will continue to monitor the situation for further information on the new vehicle.
