Geely launches global naming campaign for its new Galaxy mid-to-large-sized car, featuring pure electric power and a fastback design.

Geely Galaxy recently launched a global naming contest for its new model, with the contest ending on June 16, 2026. The vehicle, which was previously submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in May, will be powered by a pure electric powertrain, measuring 4999mm in length, featuring a fastback design, and will be equipped with an electric spoiler and lidar, among other features.

Looking back at the new car, its exterior will adopt a completely new design style, featuring a closed front grille flanked by narrow and rounded headlights, a prominently raised hood, and a front bumper with a three-section air intake, giving it a sporty overall look. In addition, the car will also be equipped with features such as lidar and an electric spoiler.

From the side, the car features a fastback design and semi-concealed door handles, catering to the aesthetic preferences of today's young consumers. At the rear, it adopts a continuous taillight assembly, officially called "Star Diamond Taillights," which offers strong visibility when illuminated. In terms of dimensions, the car measures 4999/1919/1479mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2920mm, and will offer 18-inch and 19-inch wheels.

In terms of power, the vehicle is equipped with a TZ184QY301 drive motor manufactured by Wuxi Xingdongli Technology Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 245 kilowatts.
