A mid-size all-electric sedan. The Arcfox Beta S3 boasts a stunning exterior, a spacious interior, and a CATL battery—plus, it supports battery swapping!

Measuring 4,916 x 1,900 x 1,480 mm with a wheelbase of 2,876 mm, this vehicle’s dimensions fully meet the standards of a mid-size car. Upon close inspection, I found that both the exterior paint finish and the assembly quality are on par with mainstream industry standards—which is to be expected, given that it is a model from BAIC’s Arcfox brand. Even if you remain convinced that Wanli tires are a low-cost choice, the 215/50 R18 size is certainly not small. As for the lighting configuration—featuring LED headlights complete with automatic activation and adaptive high/low beam functions—it is absolutely flawless; you simply won't find anything to criticize.

While the interior design lacks a bit of distinctiveness, the quality of the materials used is undoubtedly excellent for this price point. First, the cabin is free of that typical "new car" smell—a result, according to the manufacturer, of utilizing materials that contain zero formaldehyde and zero benzene. Second, the leather seats offer a high level of comfort, featuring long, generously sized cushions; the mid-range trim includes heating and ventilation functions for the front seats, while the top-tier model adds a massage function.

Interior space is one of this vehicle's biggest selling points.The rear passenger space is exceptionally roomy; at 182 cm tall, I still have more than two fist-widths of legroom when sitting in the back. Furthermore, the rear seats can be folded down to further expand the cargo capacity. During a live demonstration, the manufacturer showed that the vehicle can be packed to the brim with exactly 30 20-inch carry-on suitcases.

This vehicle features a 15.6-inch central infotainment screen with navigation powered by Baidu Maps; the voice wake-up command is "Hello, Little Fox." To be honest, the overall system fluidity is decent, though the touch responsiveness during scrolling is merely average. However, it supports CarPlay, HUAWEI HiCar, and Carlink, making it highly practical.
