Leapmotor Delivered 81,569 Vehicles in May, Up 81% Year-on-Year; New C10, C11, and C16 Models Set to Launch Soon.

Recently, Leapmotor released its delivery figures for May, reporting the delivery of 81,569 new vehicles—an 81% year-on-year increase—setting a new all-time monthly delivery record.

In May, world-renowned automotive critic and former *Top Gear* presenter Richard Hammond paid an in-depth visit to Leapmotor’s General Assembly Plant in Jinhua, where he got a sneak peek at the newly rolled-off Leapmotor D19 and offered high praise for the vehicle’s premium quality and craftsmanship.

The new C10, C11, and C16 models are set to launch with a refreshed look soon. Previously, regulatory filing images for the new Leapmotor C10 and C16 were leaked; these new models feature a redesigned front fascia while also boasting improvements in powertrain performance and driving range. Specifically, the maximum motor power for the new Leapmotor C10 EREV (Extended-Range Electric Vehicle) version has been increased from 170 kW to 200 kW, and its WLTC pure-electric range has been extended from 140 km to 190 km. The pure-electric version, equipped with a single motor, sees its maximum power output—previously rated at 170 kW and 220 kW—upgraded to 230 kW. As for the new Leapmotor C16 EREV version, the maximum motor power has been raised from 170 kW to 200 kW, and its WLTC pure-electric range—previously listed at 134 km and 182 km—has been increased to 185 km. The pure-electric C16 model continues to utilize a single-motor configuration, with its maximum power output—previously rated at 215 kW and 220 kW—upgraded to 230 kW.
