The all-new Lexus ES hybrid has recently been spotted in action. This vehicle will be equipped with the fifth-generation THS hybrid system, consisting of a 2.0L engine and a high-power electric motor. Based on previous reports, the new car is expected to launch in April, along with a pure electric version.

Looking at the new car, the most obvious difference between its front face and the pure electric version is that the hybrid version adds a long strip-shaped air vent above the closed grille to help improve heat dissipation efficiency. Other designs are basically the same as the pure electric version, including the lightning bolt-shaped split headlights, two-tone paint, and the lower bumper with diamond-shaped decorations.

Moving to the side, the black trim along the side skirts is eye-catching and enhances the vehicle's sporty feel. It also features hidden electronic door handles and a sloping roofline to improve aerodynamics. The vehicle is reportedly 5140mm long with a wheelbase of 2950mm. The hybrid version will also feature 18-inch wheels (the pure electric version will have 21-inch wheels), with tire specifications of 235/60 R18.

The rear of the vehicle features a continuous taillight design that integrates the brand logo, providing good visibility when illuminated. The taillights retain aerodynamic design elements on both sides, consistent with the brand's consistent style. The lower bumper uses sharp lines to create a sporty feel, and it features a hidden dual exhaust system. Additionally, the rear badge indicates that the hybrid version will be named ES 300h.
Inside the car, the new model doesn't feature a passenger-side entertainment screen, suggesting the photographed vehicle is likely a more entry-level version. In terms of features, it includes driver's seat memory, heated and ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable and heated steering wheel, Level 2 driver assistance, a head-up display (HUD), wireless charging for front-seat phones, and a small sunroof.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with the fifth-generation THS hybrid system, which consists of a 2.0L engine and a high-power electric motor. Referring to the Lexus UX, its engine has a maximum power of 112kW, the electric motor has a maximum power of 83kW, and the system's combined power is 146kW. The transmission system is matched with an E-CVT gearbox.
