Huawei's A800, featuring intelligent driving technology and HarmonyOS cockpit, will be launched tomorrow night.

The Haobo A800, a mid-to-large-sized sedan under the Haobo brand, will be officially launched in Guangzhou tomorrow night (March 4th). Blind pre-orders have already begun. Four models will be offered, each equipped with features such as the Huawei Qiankun ADS V4.1 driver assistance system and HarmonySpace 5 cockpit. Notably, Huawei's HarmonyOS will also be holding its annual technology upgrade launch event tomorrow, themed "A New Beginning, Driving the Future," and the GAC Haobo A800 launch event is following closely behind, choosing tomorrow night – a move that seems to subtly incorporate Huawei's influence.

In terms of appearance, the car features a closed front grille and split headlight design, equipped with a 6068mm continuous star-ring light strip that extends from the front to the outer side of the doors. It also offers Huawei's megapixel smart projection headlights, supporting nine light language projections. Regarding color options, the Haobo A800 will have six exterior paint choices, including Cloud Purple, Blade White, Matte Moon Gray, Moon Gray, Obsidian Black, and Super Silver. Cloud Purple and Matte Moon Gray are optional extras priced at 5000 yuan, and Cloud Purple will be available free for a limited time during the blind pre-order period.

From the side, the car boasts a full and powerful profile, featuring concealed door handles. At the rear, it adopts a continuous taillight design, appropriately widening the horizontal visual perspective. In terms of configuration, the car will offer two wheel options: a 20-inch 12-spoke turbine-style wheel and a 20-inch 7-hole disc wheel, the latter featuring a floating wheel logo. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 5130/1966/1500mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3020mm.

Inside, the vehicle features a wraparound cockpit design, equipped with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel, a 27-inch W-HUD, a 15.6-inch central control screen, and HarmonySpace 5 operating system. Combined with active noise cancellation technology and a 23-speaker ADiGO SOUND sound system, it offers a high-quality driving and riding experience. Three interior color options are available: Chibi Danxia, Dover White Cliff, and Lenghu Black Mountain; the Chibi Danxia interior color is not available on the Smart Leading version.

In terms of configuration, the new car offers four trims: Smart Leading, Smart Navigation Elite, Smart Navigation Flagship, and Navigation 4WD Flagship. The Smart Leading trim comes standard with a 7.3.4 panoramic sound system, SDC electromagnetic suspension (Eagle Claw Intelligent Active Stability), and HarmonySpace 5 cockpit. The Smart Navigation Elite trim, building on the Smart Leading trim, comes standard with Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS V4.1 (single lidar), 12 airbags, and a WHUD head-up display. The Smart Navigation Flagship trim, building on the Smart Navigation Elite trim, adds features such as zero-gravity passenger seat, dual-chamber air suspension + SDC electromagnetic suspension, RNC + ENC active noise cancellation, 2+1 luxury rear seats, and Huawei XPIXEL megapixel intelligent projection headlights. The Navigation 4WD Flagship trim, building on the Smart Navigation Flagship trim, is equipped with the Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving System with four lidars.

In terms of power, the vehicle is equipped with a range extender system consisting of a 1.5T engine. The range extender has a maximum power of 160 horsepower, while the electric motor offers 272 horsepower (single rear motor) and 598 horsepower (triple motor) depending on the configuration. For the battery, all models are equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack supplied by Suzhou Zhengli, with a capacity of 35.03kWh, corresponding to a WLTC pure electric range of 178 kilometers and 163 kilometers.
